Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five-star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. INFOhio offers free, online classes on how to use technology and digital resources in teaching and learning and with families. Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) Program Standards require that programs select and adopt a comprehensive curriculum. This is the only training that can be taken to meet the requirements for completion of the one-hour child abuse training. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations. Enrolled programs have access to coaching and resources that help them on their path to higher quality. Now early educators seeking Step Up To Quality training opportunities can register for four classes in the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association's Ohio Professional Registry to earn Ohio-approved credit. These trainings are required to become an Ohio Healthy Program. The new online Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) training modules, Ohio’s Approach to Quality and Ohio’s Overview to Child Development are now available on the Ohio Professional Registry (OPR).
